Asian Sales Account Manager (경력 3년 이상)

Position Summary

The Asian Sales Representative will be responsible for overseeing existing Asian channel sales. The role will focus on leveraging sales expertise within the food industry to enhance customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and expand existing Asian channel sales, conducting thorough market research to optimize imported product supply.

• Expand operations in Korean/Asian markets while cultivating new channels for business development.

• Efficiently oversee external warehouse operational costs to ensure effective management.

• Supervise and administer online channels, including Weee! and emerging platforms, for sustained growth and visibility.

• Responsible for assuring that all appropriate information on quality, delivery, and technical requests is relayed to the customers.

• Researches and responds to delivery, quality, and document issues as required to maintain high customer ratings.

Skills/Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' practical experience in food sales, inventory control, operations or related

• Fluent in Korean and English

Sourcing Merchants Assistant(Food) (신입)

Position Summary

The Sourcing Merchandiser is responsible for sourcing and procuring products that delivers the best value in price and quality, establish, and oversee the production functions of vendors, and develop new supply chains for new trends and buying programs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Sourcing / Procuring Management

• Presents/pitches new products/vendors to Emart Head Office counterparts and assist with developing products and manage category items

• Manages purchase orders and inventory; maintains close coordination with vendors to ensure timely execution and coordination of sourcing activities

• Secures and analyzes quotations, negotiates prices and terms with vendors, and communicates with them regarding company’s requirements for cost, quality, and delivery competitiveness

• Resolves quality issues with vendors to maintain stability

• Monitors open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery, maintain quality order status, and track shipment

• Responsible for leading all buyer trips regarding their category and region for each customer

• Performs any other duties delegated from time to time to maintain a high level of efficiency within the department

• Follows compliance of global and corporate application standards

2. Product/Vendor Management

• Studies market prices and current trends, product developments, and manufacturing method improvements applicable to assigned product lines

• Visits/Finds suppliers’ facilities to qualify them as new sources and introduce new products for development (production, design, quality, and deliver)

• Travels as needed to current contract manufacturers/vendors to monitor production and look to expand current business

• Responsible for complete management of their category and territory relationships with suppliers (or assists upper manager’s accounts until fully ready to be independent)

• Performs extensive research to find quality products and continuously develops sourcing and procurement strategies and execute goals

• Attends food conferences/trade shows to network with different vendors and manufacturers

• Ensures forecasts and purchase orders are effectively communicated to suppliers

• Establishes regular reports to review past performance and align future forecasts

Skills/Qualifications

• Retail merchandising/buying experience, or comparable merchandising and inventory planning experience preferred (Grocery Food / Fresh Commodity channel experience plus)

• Bachelor’s Degree is required (Sourcing or Procuring related major preferred)

• 0~3 years of relevant experience preferred

• Must have your own transportation and a valid driver’s license

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written); Effective negotiation skills

Food Product Development Technologist (경력3년 ~ 4년)

ssential Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive new product development and process enhancements through consumer feedback insights.

• Conceptualize and create innovative product ideas and recipes aligned with market trends.

• Conduct thorough research on products, markets, and technology to forge fresh product concepts.

• Collaborate with marketing and sales to evaluate the feasibility of new product concepts.

• Design comprehensive product structures, source ingredients, and develop prototypes.

• Ensure uncompromising quality and safety of food products, actively seeking safe ingredient alternatives.

• Review, validate, and enforce adherence to nutritional data and labeling regulations.

• Develop detailed specifications for raw materials, process controls, and finished goods.

• Oversee and manage product specification documents for internal and customer use.

• Maintain regulatory compliance, liaising with relevant authorities, and proactively adapting to changes.

• Collaborate with the Oregon factory R&D team, and occasional business trips may be required.

Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field (Advanced degree preferred).

• Minimum 3 years of proven food product development experience.

• Strong understanding of consumer trends and market dynamics.
