Job Posting: Operation Support Department
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Job Summary
This position performs all areas of back-office operations for the bank and assists clients, bank, and branch staff with operational inquiries/issues and addresses accordingly. Additionally, may need to work with the Federal Reserve, Fiserv applications, and support bank operations-related vendors.
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree
• Bank branch and/or back-office experience in an operational function preferred but not required
• Clear understanding of bank products and services
• Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities
• Provide customer service
• Clear ACH transactions through OFAC lists
• Prepare chargeback/earns report, redeposit checks as requested by branches and mail out returned checks
• Process garnishment orders and execute payments when necessary; create and update legal logs
• Respond to branch requests for check number corrections, daily limit increase, deposit accounts, etc.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned

Job Summary
Responsible for underwriting new SBA guaranteed loan products with a primary focus on SBA 7 (a) loans, in accordance with the bank's loan policies and procedures, as well as adhering to SBA guidelines and sound lending practices.
Minimum Requirements
• Open to entry-level or experienced candidates
• [Experienced Candidates] Minimum 5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong understanding of financial statements, credit modeling, and lending statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and loan underwriting tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in Business, Accounting, and/or Finance
• Experience in commercial lending or corporate banking
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the financial industry
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct credit analysis, prepare financial spreads, and assess applications for SBA eligibility determination
• Perform on-site visitation for new and existing borrowers
• Ensure the accuracy and timeline of the loan application register through regular updates
• Thoroughly prepare and review files to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and documentation standards, including those related to equal credit, fair credit reporting, BSA, and other compliance requirements
• Track and assess past-due reports and payment performance for each borrower
• Provide support to lending staff for any lending-related matters including but not limited to underwriting, customer service, decision making, loan structuring, loan monitoring and so on.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• This position operates in a professional office environment and requires the ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
• Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and training, depending on job functions/role.
