Job Title: On-Site Construction Project Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced On-Site Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects in Guam, specifically focusing on NAVFAC (Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command) projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction projects, particularly in a military or federal environment, and possess excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Coordination: Coordinate with NAVFAC representatives, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to e ensure seamless project execution.
• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with NAVFAC standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, including coordinating trades and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs, including preparing and approving change orders and managing project budgets.
• Quality Control: Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, challenges, and milestones to senior management and NAVFAC representatives.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and address issues and risks that may affect project performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and reports.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
