We are a wholesale supplier of chain stores and exporter. The company was formed twenty years ago. We have been in the city of Vernon since opening.
We are seeking an individual who has knowledge of general merchandise specified in arts & crafts and gift items. As a purchaser, an individual with a keen eye on products from our overseas vendors, mainly China.
Responsibilities
* Research of potential suppliers by product evaluation and development plus
pricings.
* Create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers.
* Compare and negotiate contract terms.
* Monitoring inventory and fulfilling goods as needed.
* Coordinate with warehouse staff to track and ensure proper
delivery and storage.
* Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with
industry trends by Sales Support with product knowledge.
Requirements
* Knowledge in import and export business in general
merchandise in gift goods.
* Good understanding of purchasing and sourcing practices.
* College degree in a related field or 3-5 years of experience in
related field.
* Knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Adobe, and
QuickBooks.
* Must be fluent in English and able to work in the US.
* Willing to travel overseas when permitted.
* Ability to work independently and as a team.

Sales Person
We are seeking an in-house salesperson who has knowledge of general merchandise. A salesperson who can represent us with our general merchandise/Angels Craft line professionally as a team member with an outgoing personality and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
* Arrange and coordinate meetings with customers for sales and distributions.
* Develop new prospects and manage existing accounts.
* Work with customers to find out what they need, monitor market conditions, and
product feedback, price analysis, and management.
* Review and coordinate sales targets on a weekly basis with the team to promote and
expand sales.
* Manage inventory with reports, solve problems when obstacles arise, and develop
solutions.
Requirements
* Proven work experience in sales, communication skills in sales, and prior sales
experience are strongly preferred.
* Computer knowledge in Word. Excel and QuickBooks/inventory software management.
* Travel and participate in trade shows as sales.
* Must be fluent in English and able to work in the U.S.
* Ability to work independently and as a team.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers
• Process payroll and ensure timely payment
• Employee PTO processing through Gusto.com
• Maintain and update employee benefits
• HR compliance monitoring
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Prepare and file tax documents as required
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Bookkeeping/Invoice and payment
• EDI documents sending and receiving
• Inventory control

Job Requirements and qualifications
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Acumatica, Or other ERP)
• BA Degree or certificates in related field.
• Must be fluent in English
