1.Project Coordinator
Job description
The Project Coordinator is a member of the R&D team and will work with the team to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects implementations. Tasks involve monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. Other responsibilities and duties for this position include:
• Developing project strategies.
• Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
• Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.
• Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
• Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
• Provide updates on projects to senior management team.
• Schedule project meetings per project plan and/or need.
Required Skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skill
• Strong record-keeping and organizational skills
• Bilingual (English & Korean)
Education
• Bachelor's in chemistry, biochemistry, or engineering required.

2. Research Scientist
Key Responsibilities
• Performs routine scientific research tasks requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Conduct experiments and research activities for optimization and development of new products
• Engineering/developing mass manufacturing scale through a validated process
• Analysis of prototypes and samples at various stages of completion using bioanalytical techniques including SDS-PAGE and colorimetric assays
• Coordinates, prepares and analyzes samples for techniques including SEM-EDS, FTIR, mechanical testing, and surface characterization
• Makes detailed observations, analyzes data, and interpret results
• Designs, performs, and/or oversees experiments and data collection to ensure data integrity, quality control, and protocol compliance.
• Adherence to good laboratory procedures and practices
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
• PhD or M.S. in biochemistry, chemistry, biology or chemical engineering.
• Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:
• Ability to develop and follow research methodology and protocol.
• Knowledge of scientific approach and methodologies.
• Knowledge of scientific research principles, practices, and protocols.
• Ability to design, organize, and coordinate scientific research projects.
• Bilingual (English & Korean)
