Women’s Apparel Company – Los Angeles@elevator_discoWe are a growing women’s apparel company working across wholesale, private label, and branded collections, partnering with major retailers while expanding our direct-to-consumer presence. We’re looking for motivated, detail-oriented team members to join us in-house.OPEN POSITIONSFashion Designer (Brand Collection Focus)• Design and develop seasonal brand collections from concept through production• Work within a structured brand collection system (categories, deliveries, pricing, margins)• Create sketches, line plans, and support tech packs• Collaborate with production, sales, and merchandising teams• Review samples, fittings, and revisions with factoriesRequirements: Fashion design background, strong understanding of brand collections, seasonal calendar experience, knowledge of fabrics and construction, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop required.Portfolio required.Fashion Design Assistant• Assist designers with sketches, tech packs, and seasonal development• Organize samples, trims, and line sheets• Track samples and fitting comments• Communicate with vendors and factories• Support photoshoots and showroom prepRequirements: Fashion design coursework or degree, highly organized, Illustrator/Photoshop preferred, industry experience a plus.Portfolio preferred.Production Coordinator• Manage production timelines from PO release through shipment• Track sample and bulk production status with factories• Review tech packs, BOMs, and production details• Communicate daily with overseas vendors and internal teams• Ensure on-time delivery and quality standardsRequirements: Apparel production experience, strong organization and follow-up skills, experience working with overseas factories, understanding of production calendars.Production Assistant (Import / China)• Support production team with daily follow-ups to China factories• Track samples, lab dips, trims, and approvals• Assist with production reports, WIP tracking, and documentation• Coordinate with shipping and logistics teams• Help ensure timelines are met for import deliveriesRequirements: Apparel production or import experience preferred, familiarity working with China vendors, strong Excel skills, detail-oriented and proactive. Mandarin or Korean a plus.Shopify + Social Media Coordinator• Manage Shopify backend (product uploads, descriptions, inventory)• Coordinate website launches and updates• Assist with email marketing and analytics• Manage social media content (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)• Maintain brand voice and visual consistencyRequirements: Shopify experience required, strong social media knowledge, good writing and visual skills, basic photo/video editing a plus.Shipping Coordinator (EDI Experience Required)• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments• Prepare shipping documents• Work with freight forwarders and warehouses• Manage EDI transactions (POs, ASNs, invoices)• Ensure retailer routing-guide complianceRequirements: Apparel shipping or logistics experience, EDI knowledge required, strong organization and communication skills.In-House Accountant• Manage daily accounting operations• Handle AP/AR and invoicing• Reconcile bank and credit card statements• Assist with budgeting and financial reporting• Support cash-flow planningRequirements: Accounting or finance background, QuickBooks experience, apparel or wholesale experience preferred, detail-oriented.Office Assistant• Provide general administrative and office support• Assist with scheduling, filing, and coordination• Support teams with data entry and organization• Help manage samples, deliveries, and office needsRequirements: Strong multitasking and organizational skills, basic office software proficiency, reliable and proactive.
