1) Project Manager
About the job
As a Project Manager, you oversee the project schedules, the budget, and are the final decision maker to finish the project in a successful direction. You will be working closely with the clients and all other stakeholders to complete the projects in a timely manner by protecting the margin.
Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, and lead the project management team
• Oversee everything about the project
• Review the schedule of value with clients, send invoices, and review subcontractor and/or vendors’ invoices
• Budgeting and cost savings
• Keep projects on schedule
• Make thoughtful decisions when problems arise
• Finalize the close-out documents
Qualifications
• Legally eligible to work in US
• 3+ years of project manager experience working on public or commercial civil or building construction
• High degree of leadership, communication skills, and business level writing skill
• Microsoft Office and other project management software is a plus
Pay range $100,000 - $120,000 annually
2) Superintendent
About the job
As a Superintendent, you will be the main conduit for the field and the office. The superintendent oversees all the field work, plans ahead, coordinate schedule with in-house laborers, subcontractors and vendors, and ensures that quality work is being carried out at the field.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and make thoughtful decisions on how to save cost and time when RFI comes up
• Oversee all the work of field engineer and field labors
• Continuously monitor productivity of the field labors and ensure they are performing as required
• Review any measurements at the field
• Review schedules with the project manager and check if any delays will occur
• Review schedule with subcontractors
• Check the job site and perform lay outs as required
• Maintain good relationship with inspectors
• Ensure the budget is being followed and schedule our own crew according to the work being done
• Track project progress on a weekly basis
Qualifications
• 3+ years of field superintendent experience working on a public or commercial civil or building construction
• Experiences in managing more than one project simultaneously
• High degree of field leadership and communication skills
Pay range $80,000 ~ $120,000 (depending on experience/qualification)
3) Project Engineer
About the job
As a Project Engineer, you will manage the planning and processes of small projects, along with assisting the Project Manager with estimates, invoices, and close-out documents. The Project Engineer also assists in coordinating between project clients, subcontractors, and vendors. At times, the Project Engineer also supports the production of bid documents and estimating takeoffs when bidding for new projects.
Responsibilities
• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating, scheduling, and communicating
• Take on the role of Project Manager for small-scale projects and task orders
• Support bidding team by gathering quotations and estimating takeoffs
• Ensure that daily job reports are accurate and maintained in a timely manner
• Support administrative tasks and labor compliance procedures
• Attend jobsite meetings and/or inspections if the Project Manager is not available
Qualifications
• 3+ years of Project Engineer experience working on public/commercial and civil/building construction
• Microsoft Office and/or other project management software programs
• High degree of time management and communication skills
Pay range $60,000 - $90,000 annually
4) Accountant
About the job
As an Accountant position, you will be responsible for assisting payroll, AP, AR, and some administrative tasks. This position also requires to work with Project Managers and Superintendents about the payment status for the vendors, subcontractors, and field crews.
Responsibilities
• Assist with processing weekly payrolls, collect & verify employee timesheets, and support certified payroll reporting if required
• Verify invoices with the project managers / superintendents and make the payment
• Assist with accounts receivable tracking and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Request for updated insurance and workers’ compensation documents
Qualifications
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in accounting
• Detail oriented
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel & Intuit QuickBooks
Pay range $50,000 ~ $70,000
