Role
The Attorney at the Law Offices of Alex Cha and Associates will be responsible for handling a range of personal injury and lemon law cases under the guidance of the managing attorney. This position is ideal for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with up to 2 years of experience who is eager to learn and develop their legal skills in the field of personal injury and lemon law. The Attorney will work on cases from client intake through resolution, providing legal advice, conducting research, and representing clients in negotiations and, if necessary, in court. Whether you are preparing to take the bar soon or have already taken and passed the bar, you are encouraged to apply.

To provide high-quality legal representation to personal injury and lemon law clients.
To develop and refine legal skills through hands-on experience and mentorship from the managing attorney.
To achieve favorable outcomes for clients through diligent case management and legal expertise.
To build each case for trial.
Responsibilities
Client Consultations: Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to assess the merits of their cases and provide preliminary legal advice.
Case Management: Handle personal injury and lemon law cases with the Case Manager, under the supervision of the managing attorney.
Legal Research and Writing: Conduct legal research to support case strategy, draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases and answering their questions.
Discovery: Participate in the discovery process, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.
Negotiation: Assist in negotiating settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel, aiming to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
Court Appearances: Represent clients in court for motions, hearings, and potentially trials, under the guidance of senior attorneys.
Trial Preparation: Assist in preparing cases for trial, including organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and drafting trial briefs.
Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and professional development, including attending relevant workshops, seminars, and legal education courses.

Client Satisfaction: Aim for high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and positive case outcomes.
