Position Summary
The HR Specialist is responsible for managing various HR functions to support the organization's workforce
and ensure a positive employee experience. This role encompasses overseeing recruitment and onboarding,
addressing employee relations, administering benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company
policies.
Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews. Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits. Mediate conflicts and support performance management processes, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs such as health insurance and retirement plans. Assist employees with benefits-related questions and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Compliance and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies, and prepare reports and documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
Training and Development: Coordinate and support training and development programs. Identify training needs and assist in developing training materials.
Administrative Support: Manage HR-related administrative tasks and support HR management with special projects. Ensure office operations comply with company policies and procedures..
Qualifications
At least 3 years or more years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in HR roles, such as HR Specialist, HR Coordinator, or similar.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience using BambooHR
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
Stipend:
$80K (Negotiable)
Schedule:
8 hour (Full time- Mon to Fri)
